2024 NASCAR Rules Round 2

1.      The Pool will be run in three 12 race groups.  The second is the Darlington thru Michigan. We will not include the All-Star Race. Entry fee is $50.00 ($4.16 per week) for each group and is to be paid in full by the 4th race of each group. All money paid in is paid out and no one plays for free.

2.      Multiple entries per player will be allowed but each entry name must be unique.

3.      Each player is to pick three cars for each race.
One pick can be a driver in the top 8 in points;
Second pick can be a driver in the 9th through the 16th position in points;
Third pick has to be a driver that is 17th and beyond in points.
If you choose to not pick a driver in the top 8 you may choose two drivers in the 9th through 16th positions.
You don’t have to pick any top 16 drivers, you can choose three drivers 17th and beyond in the points if you like.
If for any reason a player picks three cars in the top 16 and I don’t catch it in time, the player will be given his/her highest top 8 driver and his/her highest 9th through 16th driver and the 17th  ranked driver.

If in the unlikely event a driver qualifies but is unable to participate, or a driver is replaced by a Non-NASCAR declared driver, you will have the Car # the driver would have been driving. If the driver is a Non-NASCAR declared driver you will receive the points he would have received based on the order of finish.

4.      Picks can be made prior to Qualifying, but that is not recommended.  The qualifying dates and times change for each race and I'll try to post on the web site. If you don't have access to the web please make sure you are aware of times.  You may enter your picks on line via the website at https://weswilliams.netfirms.com, email your picks to me at gwestonwilliams@gmail.com or call at 732-239-5384.  If picks are not in before the post qualifying deadline, the player will receive the 1st, 9th, 17th drivers in the standings for that week in the race.

5.      Players get the NASCAR points for the drivers you pick. Please remember that "PLAYOFF" points are ignored for purposes of this pool. Post race penalties that are applied to Drivers overall point totals are ignored. The penalty must be applied to the race itself in order to have points deducted.

6.      Prize money will be paid out at the end of each Round of Racing.  The payout will be determined according to the number of entries and will be posted after that group starts.  I’m looking to payout the top 7 or 8 positions with 7th or 8th place getting their money back.
